Brandon Lanksbury, age 14, decided to start at P. S. Systems for 2 reasons. One for fun, and two, to change his behavior.
We saw an ad about P. S. Systems and it seemed to have what we needed to help Brandon improve his self-esteem and behavior, while keeping him interested.
We have stuck with P. S. Systems because it has changed Brandon in one month's time from a boy with low self-esteem, anger and on the road to self-destruction. It has given Brandon something in which he can feel good about himself. Brandon seems less tense, tries harder to do what is required of him: like school work, his jobs at home and being respectful to others.
Brandon's past behavior was sassing back, getting into fights at school, refusing to do homework or not handing the homework in. Grades were low. He was moody, which made the atmosphere around him tense and he was very down on himself.
In about a month at P. S. Systems, there has been great changes in Brandon's behavior. His grades in classes went from C's to A's and B's. Homework is getting in on time and the fighting at school has stopped. The teachers have informed us that Brandon is taking part in class discussions. He is getting his chores done and is more respectful. We still have some setbacks and Brandon hasn't given up trying to improve, even when things get tough.
We have supported Brandon's goals by taking part in the parent meetings (where we learned how to change the way in which we dealt with Brandon's misbehavior), family conferences, and being there for his classes when possible. Also, we support him taking part in the other extra activities that the Academy offers.
P. S. Systems's program has done wonders for all of us. I recommend trying the program before sending your child to military school as we had thought of doing. That sends the message "You are out of control and I don't want to deal with you." Control isn't the way to go. Guiding will make the child feel good about himself, and in this, will achieve good self-esteem. When Brandon's self-esteem is high, he is happy and that is the most important thing I want for my child.
P. S. Systems has helped Brandon learn self-importance, goal setting and sticking to his goals. We're currently working on how to be patient!
I recommend that if you have a troubled child, try P. S. Systems and watch the magic happen.
